Lake Bled is genuinely one of those places that looks too beautiful to be real — the emerald water, the clifftop castle, and the iconic island with its baroque church make it an absolute must-see. Rent a traditional pletna boat to row out to the island and ring the wishing bell for an experience you won't forget. If you visit in the early morning before the crowds arrive, you'll have the whole scene almost to yourself.
